Accommodations: The retreat will be held at the Sirius intentional community near Amherst, MA. Participants may choose to stay at Sirius or at one of numerous Airbnbs or hotels in the area.

Accommodations at the Sirius Community can be reserve during registration.
  • Shared room with twin bed: $71/night
  • Private room with queen bed, very limited: $99/night

    Meals: Vegetarian meals are available.

    Kings rule by division. Revolution through conflict replaces one king with another. It is only when revolution is achieved without conflict that all beings win. Join us in this retreat as we delve into the Buddha’s advice on how to bring about a peaceful revolution. Let us explore how we can embody these teachings and work towards creating a more compassionate and inclusive world in an immediate and practical way.

    The retreat will begin on Friday evening with an introduction to retreat and the Insight Dialogue guidelines. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a mix of silent and relational practice, as we explore each guideline using contemplations on the Buddha’s advice to revolutionaries. We will end late Sunday afternoon.
