“…We have a clear idea of the collective dangers that we face… Now we must walk the path, the path that will take us towards the future that we are presently hoping for. We know the direction in which we have to move. Now we have to start moving before it is too late.” – Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi
In this seven-week course we are invited to find and walk such a path. We will integrate the relational meditation practice of Insight Dialogue with the work of environmental activist and Buddhist scholar Joanna Macy, to cultivate the inner resources necessary to courageously and creatively meet the enormous challenges of our times. Turning towards our concerns in this way, rather than numbing out or looking away, we liberate trapped energy, and move from powerlessness to engaged empowerment. Together, we will co-create a close knit community within which we can learn ways to stay nourished, resilient, and sufficiently resourced to make our own true response, however small.
The course includes guided and relational meditations, educational video and audio materials and short optional home practices.
