Local groups are a valuable resource for developing and sustaining Insight Dialogue practice. If a group is not currently available in your community, please consider forming one.
Most local practice groups function like a meditation group or community, rather than a ‘class’ with a teacher and students; many occur in people’s homes. Groups are offered without a fee, with participants practicing dana (giving freely) to support those offering practices. Practicing in our local communities can also support a broader “whole life” path of cultivation and remind us of the possibility of awakening together here and now.
If you are interested in having an Insight Dialogue practice group in your community listed on the website, please send a request to email@example.com after completing this form.
The group meets the third Sunday of the month from 9:00 – 11:00 am. Practice sessions are facilitated by experienced Insight Dialogue practitioners who are in a facilitator cohort under the mentorship of Phyllis Hicks.
This group meets the second Friday of the month from 7:00-8:30 pm. The group is facilitated by Anita Bermont and Gary Sanders. Each monthly session will include silent practice, instruction on an Insight Dialogue guideline and time for contemplation in dialogue.
